NOD32 Antivirus System v2.5

NOD32 Antivirus 2.5 by Eset.
Written by Ponzandro, based on Juan Zack's plugin for NOD32 version 2

This was tested with BartPE3032 and xpe1.0.2, size of plugin is @12MB.

Before you can use the plugin you must copy some files to the plugin directory NOD32.

1. Download NOD32 for WinXP. To avoid conflicts with your current antivirus installation, custom install by using the Expert mode. Accept default offerings but uncheck "enable on-demand scanner..." and uncheck "register Internet monitor..."

2. Copy the entire C:\Program Files\Eset folder into the plugin directory NOD32.

• delete the following folders: Install, Setup,
• delete all files in Eset\logs and Eset\logs\nod32
• create a folder Eset\infected and Eset\cache
  

3. Copy the following files from the Windows system32 folder into the plugin directory NOD32 : imon.dll, and drivers\amon.sys

4 . Download PView and copy to it to the plugin folder NOD32

You must also edit nod32.inf. Update values as indicated in the commented lines.This is only necessary when updating from your live installation before burning a new BartPE CD.
As updating of the NOD32 virus signatures is working in BartPE you can update signatures in your BartPE session if internet connection is available.

If you want to add resident protection after starting NOD32 you have to edit nod32.cmd.
