This plugin provides MDAC-Support for WinPE.
There are no additional files needed.
You must build from a source slipstreamed with SP2!
If you're using sherpyas XPE-Plugin you need the latest XPELogon.exe
offering option /X to avoid integrity checks,
(registration directory on the CD not writeable).
Change it in z_xpe-custom.inf.
I use this line: 0x1,"Setup","CmdLine","XPELogon.exe -r
-x"
The MDAC components will be registered when you start my MDAC-Installer.
You can test the correct registration of the MDAC Components with the included
Microsoft Compchecker.
Open MDAC-Installer and press the button 'Open Component Checker'.
Check for 'MDAC 2.8 SP1 on Windows XP SP2'.
If this shows no errors or missing / wrong file-versions, you can do another
test with my sandra-2005 plugin.
You can start MDAC-Installer with option /AUTO , for Auto installation showing a
progressbar during registration.
or use the option /HIDDEN for hidden registration (showing no messages at all).
If you need DAO350 Support, copy the files:
dao350.dll, Dao2535.tlb, msjet35.dll, Msjint35.dll, msjter35.dll, MSJTOR35.DLL
to MDAC_2.8_SP1_on_Windows_XP_SP2\files Directory.
(This is needed for my InstallRite plugin)
